Enhancement Shaman Leveling Spec

If you can't tell by now, I love hybrid classes, a good mix of melee and magic. Shaman are the perfect hybrid class in my eyes because of this. With powerful strikes, devastating nukes and the ability to heal in an emergency, Shaman are truly the kings of the hybrid Classes, especially Enhancement Shaman. Your Enhancement Shaman Leveling spec will focus around heavy strikes with a 2-handed weapon until you can learn Dual Wield at level 40/41. After that your dual wield Enhancement Spec will really start to kick out some quick killing. You may have some trouble adapting at first, especially if you haven't leveled up 1-handed weapon skills for a while, and after level 41 you need to start putting points into dual wield spec to increase your hit rating. So until you have these things down, it may be safer to use DW weapons on lower level mobs and quests, or just use your 2-hander for your enhancement leveling spec for the time being.

Enhancement shaman come in a few different varieties and variations, but here is the spec and build I have found most useful:

Levels 10-20:

3/3 Enhancing totems
2/5 Ancestral Knowledge
5/5 Thundering Strikes
1/1 Shamanistic Focus

Levels 21-30

3/3 Elemental Weapons
1/3 Improved Shields
5/5 Flurry
1/1 Spirit Weapons

Levels 31-40

2/2 Improved Windfury
3/3 Mental Dexterity
3/3 Unleashed Rage
1/3 Weapon Mastery
1/1 Stormstrike

Levels 41-50

1/1 Dual Wield
3/3 Dual Wield Specialization
1/1 Lava Lash
2/2 Improved Stormstrike
3/3 Weapon Mastery
1/1 Shamanistic Rage

Levels 51-60

3/3 Mental Quickness
2/3 Improved Shields
5/5 Maelstrom Weapon
1/1 Feral Spirit

Levels 61-70

5/5 Concussion
3/3 Elemental Devastation
2/3 Call of Flame

Levels 71-80

1/1 Elemental Focus
5/5 Elemental Fury
3/3 Improved Shields
3/3 Static Shock

Building this Enhancement Leveling Spec will push your dps through the roof and leave you little to no downtime. If you are low on mana, pop Shamanistic Rage. If you are low on health, pop Feral spirit or use a Maelstrom proc for an instant heal. Typically, enhancement shaman will want to fight only one mob at a time in order to minimize downtime, though you could handle 3-5 mobs if you really need to. This build also suffices as a viable raid dps spec, so once you hit 80 you won't even need to respec. However, while leveling, talents and downtime are not the only factors to keep in mind. Questing is going to go much faster with these talents, but you will want to complete. As you may or may not know, many quests are hardly more than filler to waste your time. In order to really maximize your questing and experience per hour, You will want to pick up
